·              Design, development and implementation of main ordering, provisioning, workflow and reporting applications.  This included creation of the main user interface to all applications, menus and security model to manage users, groups, departments and over-all access and privileges.

·              Design, development and implementation of billing, collections and sales commission’s applications.

·              Worked with third parties and vendors to integrate systems and api’s.

·              Above Applications were primarily written in (Classic ASP / Asp.Net 1.1 – 2.0 / SQL Server 7 – 2000 – 2005 / VB.Net and C#.net / AJAX / Java Script.

 

 Worked with Business owners (department heads) and end users to gather requirements, design, develop, test, implement and support the following applications:  

 Detail:

a) Prepaid Telephone Service 

This was an application I had written in ASP.net 1.1 that I had later upgraded to framework ver. 2.0 (It included a security model written in C# and web interface / web services written in VB.net. This also included several MS SQL Servers - originally ver 7 that I had upgraded to ver 2000. 

b) Postpaid Telephone Service. 

This was an existing classic ASP application that I had enhanced and modified as per business needs.  I had also, after approx. 1 year upgraded the application to ASP.NET 1.1 and then later to 2.0. I had created multiple web services for both internal and external use where a users could submit a batch of xml orders and then also manipulate those orders via exposed methods in the web services. 

 

I had developed both end user and technical support protocols and documentation for this company. 

 

In my 6 years we had acquired many companies and the overall model needed to me modified accordingly. These applications used multiple SQL Servers and interfaced with many third party applications. DTS as well as VB.NET console applications were integrated as part of this process. 

 

For each acquisition Cleartel would generally retain a few key personnel from the acquired company and those persons would take direction from me when modifications / enhancements would be necessary to the core systems. 

 

Also during my time at Cleartel I had setup new environments for development and UAT. This included SQL server instances and web servers to host applications and web services. 

 

I had created many hundreds of stored procedures for the applications at Cleartel. Many of these were very complex, accepting 50 parameters or more, using multiple joins, cursors and  both built in and user defined functions.  

 

I had designed and enhanced the SQL server relational model for all of the applications at Cleartel. This was an ongoing process as business needs changed and new companies were acquired

 

I have used SQL Server DTS to format and import / export data for use with third part interfacing such as credit bureaus  and  provisioning companies.

c) Facility preventative maintenance: MS Access application to notify and schedule maintenance of remote switches and external equipment.  

 

d) Nuisance Call Bureau:  Track and report on nuisance calls with line traps: This was a VB application with SQL Server data source.
